Industrial Rope Access

Baywest utilizes an industrial rope access system to gain access to the exterior of many structures. This highly efficient and safe technique uses a double rope system and professional climbing equipment to assist workers.

Included in the Alberta Occupational Health & Safety Code is a new section specifically addressing rope access. Baywest has reviewed its practices to ensure that all equipment and procedures are compliant with the new code. Installers are trained by senior staff to a set of standards derived from the Safe Practices of SPRAT (Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians).

Through a combination of training and practical experience, Baywest employs a competent installation crew, adequately qualified to perform their work safely and efficiently.
